"My work can be described as narrative impressionistic fine art. Specializing in oil paint and the Alla Prima approach. This approach allows the art to be fresh and not over worked, keeping the abstract quality and bravado brushstrokes to remain intact. 

My goal is for the work to be exciting to the viewer on multiple levels, whether up close, studying details, texture of paint or from a distance, taking in the entire design and the overall harmony of the visual layout. 

I love it when I can reveal the entire process of creation, from the beginning drawing and abstract underpainting to the finished areas of refinement. The belief is the process of creation is just as important as the final product, everything is captured in the spontaneous dance and movement of the brush, and to let the viewer enjoy in that discipline. 

One of my greatest joys as an artist is to have people tell me that my work brings them into the soul of the subject, that it is interactive with the ability to connect with one another in a meaningful way. 

 I have a constant quest to push new boundaries, to be persistent in experimenting with new inspirations and artistic translations".
