  • Anne-Marie Kornachuk is known for her portraits of horses and women in dresses made to exact scale. Working with oil and using traditional painting techniques, she is influenced by the theatricality of Baroque Art. The horse, with its massive size, beauty and expressiveness can speak in poetic terms about emotion and experience. She meets every horse she paints, takes the reference photographs and measurements.
