CU-Artists-2022-headshot_Brown-300.jpg

Naomi is a self-taught artist and has been painting for the past 17 years.  Her Southwest landscapes & Western scenes & inspirational/religious paintings range in size from 5x7 to 48x72.  She paints on museum board & canvas.  She will paint her gradient sky's in with acrylic then paint her clouds & foreground over the top of the acrylic with oil.  She loves the depth & vibrancy of

color that it gives her paintings.

"I am very passionate about my Southwest Desert surroundings & try to portray this through each piece of my work. My goal with my art, is to move the viewer & give them an emotional connection to the subject through my paintings. I am very grateful that I am able to do what I love each day."

"I love to capture the delicate beauty & colors of the desert in my painting's.  My desert calms me with its peace & beauty.
I have been fortunate to have grown up in Twentynine Palms California & enjoy its beauty through its smallest desert animals to its vast, open, colorful landscapes."
